Ingredients

Distilled Water  Distilled water has virtually all of its impurities removed through distillation. Distillation involves boiling the water and then condensing the steam into a clean container, leaving nearly all of the solid contaminants behind. Distillation produces very pure water.

Apricot Oil  Apricot Oil (prunus armeniaca) is rich in the essential oleic and linolenic fatty acids and is known for its ability to penetrate the skin without leaving an oily feel. It moisturizes and revitalizes dry or aged skin. 

Hemp Oil  Hemp Oil (prunus armeniacia) (organic). We use the natural, unrefined, meaning it has been left in its virgin state after pressing and not run through filters or chemicals. Hemp is full of vitamins, minerals, protein and essential fatty acids. Because this EFA profile so closely resembles the skin’s natural lipids, hemp seed oil reacts quickly to counter the dehydration that causes dry skin. Hemp seed oil is a healthy choice in a skin cream. 

Calendula  Calendula (calendula officinalis) derived from the dried flowers of golden marigolds. It soothes and refreshes itchy and chapped skin. 

Cocoa butter  Cocoa butter (theobroma cacoa) is a wax obtained from the roasted cocoa bean (Theobroma). Its light creamy consistency has emollient qualities and absorbs quickly into the skin. 

Cocoa Palm  Cocoa Palm (cocos nucerifera palm wax) Although not 100% natural it is based on the oil from the coconut palm and is an essential emulsifying wax used in the making of our cream.  

Beeswax   Beeswax (unrefined, natural) is a rich source of carotene. Beeswax is one of nature’s most wonderful ingredients to use as a thickening agent, emulsifier, and humectant. It has wonderfully emollient, soothing and softening properties and helps the skin retain moisture.  

Black Spruce  Black Spruce (picea mariana), or Black Spruce is a true Canadian. The tree is native to most of the country except the far west coast and southern prairie regions. This essential oil is calming and soothing to dryness often presented with eczema and psoriasis. 

Patchouli  Patchouli (pogostemon cablin) is a powerful, pungent essential oil, mossy and musty, earthy and exotic. Patchouli cools, calms dry, cracked skin.  

Vitamin E  Vitamin E (tocopherol acetate) Vitamin E is vital in protecting skin cells from ultra violet light, pollution, drugs, and other elements that produce cell damaging free radicals. Excellent as an addition to cosmetics to help sustain shelf life.  

Lemonseed Extract  Lemonseed Extract (citrus medica limonum) is a bio-citrus extract used as our natural preservative controlling skin bacteria and fungi.  

Vitamin E  Vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol). This full spectrum tocopheral is a natural preservative that helps sustain shelf life of products. It plays a crucial role in protecting skin cells and membranes from environmental damage.
